We lost money at the party, $200 - $300 due to the competition

Possibly do a hiatus for the summer/pride/long weekends?

Too much competition: pride, fireworks other events.

Maybe still run an event, but a smaller venue?

The booth was kind of low impact, needs more pizazz, interactive, maybe spanking bench

Idea: offer to take photo's with costumed volunteers, email to the person, with a blurb about our group and a link to click to autosubscribe to our list for information about our parties.

 

Noise at the party

There were some noisy players and the DM team had no instructions to deal with this situation.  Another player complained and was upset about the DM's response.

We need to come up with instructions for the DM's on how to deal with complaints like this.

Make a rule about overly distracting scenes and that we can ask people to tone it down:

Tell Arli that we had an issue with that scene and that we would like to come to a resolution and ask her advice in how to deal with it.

Announce at the next party that there was an issue with a scene at the last party and that we are doing something about it.

Board members need to wear their badges more.

 

Music

Mixed message coming across to the DJ, she wants a unified voice on the music coming from the board.

Spencer will talk to Laura to see if she if she's going to be at the sept party (ed: Greg confirmed Laura for Sept)

Peter will add music to the next feedback form.

Greg will tell Laura about some of the songs that he has an issue with.  Greg is the music liason.

Peter will talk to them about being at the September Slick and October Vancouver Dungeon for promotion.

 

Moderating the afternoon discussion group

WHO? Ask BJ if he still plans on doing it, if not we should try to find someone that is experienced in the community.  Possbily one of the board members.

 

Spencer: pick up mineral oil and 60 and 120 sandpaper for equipment maintenance

Equipment maintenance will be done on the day of the Sept 6 party,  Meshe will see if she can borrow a power sander.
