Motion to approve minutes: 4 in favor, passed
 

May 3 party

• Incident: Spencer's hanging chair malfunction. Fix later. Needs electric staple gun.
• Spencer will modify another bondage frame. Seeking copy of Jay Wiseman's Kinkycrafts.
• Spencer's bondage couch well received. Bring again.
• Attendance low due to clash with burlesque/drag event. R of Rascals says April & May are usually slow. Spencer attributes this to hockey playoffs.
• Low workshop attendance, likely due to narrow interest in topic of labial infusion and suturing. Consider putting narrow interest topics in afternoon workshops and broad interest workshops in the evening (not the same as beginner/advanced workshops). Tabled until Tillie can attend.
• Action: Spencer to research ~$30 FM transmitter for better sound at parties.
• Ask Laura for more variety in playlist
• New snack bar manager:
  • Deej: needs pre-cash, otherwise good.
  • Mishie: Rosina will ask.
• Recording workshops (audio only), with written consent of presenter and assistants. Tabled until Tillie available. Check web hosting capacity for podcasting.
• Work effort for party.
  • Videotape equipment setup.
  • Redesign red light room for easier, faster, safer setup (i.e. no more spending 30 minutes at the top of a 4 meter ladder) Use Epoxy to create socket for rod. Needs explicit permission from venue.
    
    • Action: Rosina and Spencer to get this done.
    • Motion to spend $20 for supplies.

June 7 party

• Motion to designation one bathroom as "play positive": 5 in favor, 0 opposed
• Workshop proposal:
  • BDSM vs Abuse
  • Service, other psychological styles of play
• Seeking new volunteer coordinator
• Regular schedule: 12:00 at locker, 1:00 pm at Capri hall
• Possibility: dungeon rental in afternoon.

Pride committee report

• Send invitation to Rascal's, Sin City, Libido, BoP, Van DM Team
• Vehicle for accessibility for guests who may not be able to walk long distance.
• Handout: stickers on condoms
• BJ can provide $13 t-shirts
• Motion to approve event proposal letter with minor amendments: 6/0

Use of mats at Capri Hall: Action Rosina to ask hall staff to connect us to mat owners.

• Debt reduction: Motion that 50% of monthly operating surplus of MVK be allocated to debt reduction against amounts owed to Greg & Rosina. 4/2 abstained.
